Our three founding attorneys bring diverse personal and legal backgrounds to our firm. While our experiences vary, we have worked together on an array of legal matters for years covering personal and business risks identification and mitigation; dispute negotiation and mediation; arbitration, trial and appellate practice.
Our named partner has been engaged as lead, co-lead, or specialized co-counsel in matters involving individuals, local, national, and multinational companies in large and complex one-off matters. These matters run the gamut of serious personal injury cases to business and construction disputes involving multi-year commercial and industrial projects which went to litigation and trial.
Brenda and Jack Bethany each followed different paths in the legal profession, Brenda pursuing an academically oriented path clerking for a Mississippi Supreme Court Justice, and subsequently researching and supervising legal issues for the evaluation of cases, writing appellate briefs, and sitting second chair in trials.
Jack worked briefly in private practice before becoming the General Manager of a large regional automobile dealership before he formed a finance company and operated a retail sales business for years before retirement.
Our collective experience has convinced us that in the increasingly complex and rapidly changing world each client engagement must be approached as a client and matter specific legal engagement. This necessarily involves an initial discussion on each matter in which we and the client believe we can offer valuable services to the client; and if so, whether we can reach an agreement on how proceed which the client considers fair.
